Female Personal Assistant / Support Worker

Location: East Grinstead

Ref: LR8739

Employment status: Employed, 21.5 hours per week (generally Monday to Friday). Hourly pay rate: £12.21.

Overview

This role is to support a woman who uses an electric wheelchair and may be sensitive to light and noise. The assistant will work independently and respectfully in her home, caring for her cat and keeping her environment calm, cosy, and comfortable. The candidate should be a woman*.

I’m a music lover who enjoys watching a good film, exploring meditation and crystals, and expressing myself through fashion (even if that’s a bit trickier these days!). I take pride in keeping my home calm, cosy, and comfortable – which I share with my lovely cat.

Responsibilities
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling

  • Housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, changing bedding)

  • Cooking, including batch cooking

  • Assistance with dressing/undressing and bathroom use
