Our client in Cambridge is hiring a Fast Fit Technician to perform fast fit and light service work on customers' vehicles. They offer training to help you gain Level 3 IMI & Hybrid qualifications and pursue career development within a growing UK network.

Roles include brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and wheel alignment, with a team-based approach and a focus on customer care. 32 days holiday and staff benefits accompany the role.

Formación

• Valid UK driving licence – essential.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no formal qualifications required).
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of hybrid vehicles.

Responsabilidades

• Perform fast fit services such as replacing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, and suspension parts.
• Operate wheel alignment equipment, interpret readings and adjust accurately.
• Carry out tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various makes.
• Work with the workshop team to meet targets and provide great customer care.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Fast Fit Technician based at their retail centre in Cambridge.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Cambridge

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
