Job summary

Fanatics Commerce is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional fan experiences on the sales floor, greeting customers and delivering tailored product recommendations while upholding Fanatics brand standards across high-traffic game days and events.

You will act as a brand ambassador, showcasing bold leadership and professionalism, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for fans of Team and League partners. This role requires flexibility and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or sales is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work extended hours on game days and during special events as required.
• Proven ability to build strong product knowledge of Team and League inventory and translate that knowledge into meaningful fan recommendations.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse fan base in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail across the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow associates and management to maintain a cohesive, high-performing sales floor environment that supports a diverse fan base.
• Support the management team by taking on additional responsibilities as directed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-first mindset.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by modeling professionalism, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude during high-traffic game days and events.
• Greet fans warmly and ask thoughtful questions to understand their needs and make their shopping experience enjoyable and memorable.
• Provide personalized product recommendations based on observations and conversations with fans, driving both satisfaction and sales.
• Ensure fans enjoy a seamless shopping experience that authentically reflects the Fanatics brand and its Team and League partners.
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service so that the Fanatics brand and its Team and League affiliates are always positively represented.
• Build and continuously develop deep product knowledge of Team and League inventory to better serve fans with informed, confident recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the fan experience on the sales floor and proactively communicate suggestions to the management team.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a problem-solving mindset when navigating fast-paced, high-volume environments such as game days and special events.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Fanatics Point of Sale System (POS), maintaining accountability for each fan interaction.
• Uphold rigorous standards for sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and visual presentation with close attention to detail.
• Perform housekeeping and general store maintenance duties consistently, ensuring the environment meets Fanatics brand standards at all times.
• Work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude while overcoming obstacles as they arise.
