Job summary

A social care organisation is seeking Family Assessment Support Workers to join their team on a permanent rota basis. The role involves safeguarding children, assisting with childcare duties, and delivering high-quality care to families. Candidates should demonstrate a compassionate and calm approach, with a preference for those holding Level 3 qualifications in Health & Social Care. Experience in similar care settings is essential. The position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the welfare of children and families.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience working in a similar care setting.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Job description

We are looking for Passionate Family Assessment Support Workers who will work on a permanent and Rota basis.

7-30am 3pm and 2.30pm 10pm - Rota will be a combination of both.

Working as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care at all times to support families on a daily basis.

Your duties are to ensure the safety and welfare of children remains central to assessments in a safeguarding children service setting. Assisting with childcare duties as required and to provide a service that values and respects strengths, experiences and backgrounds of the families.

The successful candidate must have ;

  • Full UK driving licence - Preferred but not essential
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care / Children & Young People is great but not essential.
  • 6 months experience working in a similar care setting.
  • Empathetic people person who is non‑judgemental and calm
  • Dedicated and committed with a can‑do attitude
