Job summary

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is helping a large public sector client in Sheffield recruit an experienced Facilities Coordinator to manage property and maintenance services. You will ensure a safe, well-maintained, legally compliant workplace and support staff across offices, laboratories and warehouses.

Responsibilities include defining maintenance schedules, inspections, and proactive fixes; onboarding suppliers; and maintaining records for risk management and health and safety

Qualifications

• IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Experience with offices, laboratories, warehouses and related building services.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, well maintained, legally compliant and productive workplace for staff.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and carry out inspections to proactively manage facilities.
• Onboard and build sound partnerships with suppliers to keep facilities operational at all times.
• Ensure compliance with estates-related statutory legislation and guidelines (COSHH, Legionella, etc.).
• Record health, safety and site activity in logs and risk management records.
