Job summary

VIVO Defence Services, a Serco/EQUANS joint venture, is seeking an experienced Small Works Project Manager in the Chicksands/Raf Henlow area to deliver maintenance and response works on MoD sites. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage stakeholders and contractors to achieve timely, quality outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, monitor risks, control costs, and contribute to forward maintenance planning, while upholding Safe Systems of Work and value

Qualifications

• Level 4 Facilities Management Qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience managing day-to-day facilities operations, planned and reactive maintenance, and small project management.
• Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work, including working at height, confined spaces, asbestos, and legionella management.
• Ability to manage teams, monitor contractor performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of maintenance and response works ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
• Review risk assessments and method statements; ensure asbestos and legionella plans are followed.
• Act as SPOC for end-user issues and manage relationships with DIO, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage costs, ensure commercial viability, and contribute to forward maintenance planning.
