Job summary

Boden Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee maintenance, response works and high-volume small projects across a Defence estate in Warwickshire, on-site.

This role covers three locations, combining contractor management, technical compliance and project delivery with responsibility for ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly and on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering small works projects.
• Knowledge of building, civil engineering, M&E or related technical environments.
• Experience managing contractors in a facilities management environment.
• Strong IT skills with accurate project/maintenance records.
• Excellent communication, organisation and proactive performance management.
• Strong attention to detail and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage low-value, high-volume projects including refurbishments, kitchens and bathroom works.
• Oversee contractors delivering planned maintenance, response works and billable projects.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and supply chain performance.
• Maintain accurate work, inspection and asset records within the CAFM system.
• Review RAMS, site risk registers and JSP 375 compliance.
• Act as Responsible Person for Asbestos and Legionella management.

A leading facilities management provider is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee maintenance, response works and high-volume small projects across a Defence estate in Warwickshire.

The Role

As The Operations Manager, You'll

• Manage low-value, high-volume projects including refurbishments, kitchens and bathroom works.
• Oversee contractors delivering planned maintenance, response works and billable projects.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and supply chain performance.
• Maintain accurate work, inspection and asset records within the CAFM system.
• Review RAMS, site risk registers and compliance with JSP 375 requirements.
• Act as Responsible Person for Asbestos and Legionella management requirements.

About You

To Be Successful As The Operations Manager, You'll Have

• Proven experience managing the delivery of small works projects.
• Knowledge of building, civil engineering, M&E or related technical environments.
• Experience managing contractors within a commercial or facilities management environment.
• Strong IT skills with experience maintaining accurate project and maintenance records.
• Excellent communication, organisation and proactive performance management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to resolve operational problems effectively.
