Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a portfolio of properties in the Southampton area. The role focuses on managing facilities operations, health and safety compliance, and service standards for tenants and clients.

You will oversee contractors, monitor budgets, and ensure regulatory adherence while developing strong tenant relationships and driving service excellence on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or above required.
• Previous facilities management experience including line management of personnel and contractors.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation; IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
• Ensure fabric of building is maintained to a high standard within budget and contract.
• Be responsible for health and safety compliance onsite.
• Oversee third party contracts to maintain service standards as per contract.
• Prepare, control and monitor service agreements within client budget.
• Monitor KPIs and take remedial action to maintain standards.
• Maintain management information/records on company, health and safety and related items.
• Develop and maintain tenant relationships and ensure high levels of service for operational needs.
• Proactively manage risk and handle insurance issues on site.
• Liaise with building manager and procurement to gather external contracts.
