Job summary

CBRE, Inc. in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Facilities Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of properties in line with Health and Safety, environmental and client requirements.

You will oversee on-site work, liaise with service providers, manage contracts within budget, and ensure high service standards while maintaining tenant relationships. A degree or equivalent is expected, with FM experience and strong communication and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Health and safety knowledge with IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred.
• Experience in facilities management with line management of staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
• Maintain fabric of the building to a high standard per contract and budgets.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Oversee third party contracts to meet contracted service standards.
• Prepare, control and monitor service agreements within the client’s budget.
• Monitor KPIs and take remedial actions to maintain standards.
• Compile and maintain management information/records related to health and safety and contracts.
• Develop and maintain excellent tenant relationships and service levels.
• Proactively manage risk and insurance issues on site.
• Liaise with building manager and procurement to compile external contracts.
