Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support day-to-day facilities management, ensuring safe, compliant and well-maintained buildings across the portfolio. You will coordinate contractors, handle service requests, monitor compliance, and help drive operational efficiency.

The role requires strong organisational skills, a full UK driving licence and proficient use of MS Office; experience with CAFM systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, property, workplace or administrative environments.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Understanding of health and safety principles in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily facilities management activities across sites.
• Be the first point of contact for facilities queries and service requests.
• Manage the facilities helpdesk, logging and prioritising requests.
• Conduct site inspections for maintenance, safety and housekeeping.
• Support office moves and workspace planning.
