Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Reading is seeking a Facilities Manager to deliver excellent service standards across multiple contracts while ensuring compliance with SLAs and cleaning specifications.

You will monitor performance, manage daily wages, and uphold Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe environment. The role requires strong customer service, excellent organisation, and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within soft services or cleaning in a facilities management environment.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Highly organised with effective time management abilities.
• IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• IOSH Health & Safety qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with contract clients and conduct regular audit inspections.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and cleaning specifications, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.
• Manage daily employee wages and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Follow statutory fire and safety regulations to minimise risk and maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure service delivery across multiple contracts aligns with company policies and procedures, including HR, QHSE, Right to Work, vetting, and compliance.
