Job summary

SSE in Reading is seeking a proactive Facilities Support professional to assist the Site Facilities Manager with day-to-day FM services. You’ll work as part of the team to deliver reliable front-of-house, post room and maintenance coordination, while ensuring excellent customer service to SSE colleagues and visitors.

The role requires IWFM level 3 (or working towards), strong IT skills with Planon and Office 365, and a driving licence to cover estates across sites.

Qualifications

• IWFM level 3 minimum or working towards.
• Experience with facility management hard and soft services.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day FM services and front-of-house support.
• Manage maintenance and repair tasks; oversee audits and reports.
• Ensure excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Deputise for the Facilities Manager during absences.
• Assist budgeting and procurement of contractor services.
