Job summary

Savills is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to deliver hard & soft FM, compliance, and ESG outcomes across a national portfolio in Reading and beyond. You will manage risk assessments, budgets, and occupier relationships, driving high standards in presentation and maintenance.

The role requires IOSH/NEBOSH, strong budgeting and organisational skills, and a proven track record in residential or commercial FM. A full driving license and IT literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications are essential.
• Experience in preparing Service Charge budgets across multiple sites.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
• Maintain a compliance rating of 95% and complete monthly audits.
• Oversee high standards of cleaning, repair and presentation within budgets.
• Attend site during emergencies and report per incident process.
• Review service partner performance and manage contracts with partners.
• Develop contingency plans for site attendance and operations.
• Establish best practice while ensuring safe working practices.
• Oversee planned and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Conduct vacant property inspections as required by policy.
• Facilitate smooth handovers of sites between RFMs when needed.
• Move across sites with a mobile, proactive visit schedule.
