SSE plc in Reading is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Site Facilities Manager in delivering day-to-day FM services. You will help manage front of house, post room, audits, and oversee maintenance tasks while ensuring excellent service for SSE colleagues and visitors.
The role requires IWFM Level 3 (or working towards), strong MS Office skills and Planon CAFM experience, plus contractor management and driving licence.
Base Location: Reading
Salary: £40,525 - £48,427 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time 37 Hours Per Week Between 08:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday start and finish times will be variable dependant on site needs
A multi-functional role, intended to provide support to the Site Facilities Manager in the delivery of day-to-day Facilities Management (FM) services. Working as part of a team and on their own initiative, the postholder will work to provide an excellent level of customer service for all SSE colleagues and visitors and assist in all aspects of delivering high-quality FM services.
The role will include (but not limited to) managing the following areas of FM activity, front of house, post room, audit processes, oversee the organising of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring effective customer service, dealing with stakeholders, dispute/conflict resolution, management of contractors and other third-party service providers and production of FM related reports.
As part of the role, the post holder will be required to deputise for the Facilities Manager during periods of absence, holidays or when the Facilities Manager is unavailable to deal with issues directly.
The role will involve travel a driving licence will be needed as you will be required to cover other sites to ensure the delivery of FM Services across the estate.
