Strood Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Facilities Assistant to join our collaborative team from June 2025. This position will assist the wider Estates Team with the care of the academy premises, including general maintenance duties such as minor repair and refurbishment works, porterage, and other responsibilities. The role involves supporting the Facilities Manager in ensuring health, safety, and security within a busy academy environment.

Applicants should be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Ideally, candidates will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, and an understanding of safeguarding. This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday. The salary is £24,404 per annum, with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
