We are seeking a Facilities Assistant/ Theatre Portering to join our team. This role primarily involves portering duties, but may also include cleaning and catering responsibilities in clinical, non-clinical, and public areas of the premises. The successful candidate is expected to meet the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS, maintaining high standards of cleaning and housekeeping. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but enthusiasm and teamwork skills are equally important.

Band 2 position
Hours are 11am - 7pm, Monday to Friday.

This role includes Domestic, Catering, and Portering duties, with a primary focus on Portering services.
Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for staff, patients, and visitors, in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
The role requires flexibility, innovation, and self-motivation to meet operational goals and support professional development.
Support the Portering, Domestic, and Catering Teams with various tasks.
Ensure compliance with the 2021 National Standards of Cleanliness and Food Safety Hygiene Regulations 2006.
