Historic England has a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Assistant. We are seeking someone passionate about facilities, customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our London office. This is a part-time role, five hours a day over five days.
What you will be doing
You will ensure day-to-day facilities management services are delivered on site, maintaining safety, cleanliness, stock levels, presentation, and comfort.
You will act as the first point of contact for colleagues, tenants, and visitors, monitor contractor performance, resolve issues proactively, and escalate problems when necessary.
