Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Fabric Technician to support the Technical Supervisor and Area Operation Manager by delivering reactive and pre-planned maintenance to building fabric and related engineering services across multiple sites. You will follow established procedures and safe working practices to ensure high standards of service and safety.

The role includes leading small teams on fabric projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with uplift and refit works while mentoring

Qualifications

Proven experience in building fabric trades.
Ability to organise small teams for fabric projects.
Strong knowledge of HSE requirements.
Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Deliver maintenance across sites, keeping safety standards high.
Meet service commitments and improve customer satisfaction.
Build effective relationships with the customer.
Ensure processes, statutory requirements and HSE standards are followed.
Provide planned and reactive fabric and plumbing work per competency matrix.
Support uplift/refit projects with Projects & Construction and Facilities Services.
Carry out risk assessments and document results.
Record and report risks or defects to management.
Maintain Site Activity Log Books accurately.
Participate in Emergency Call Out as required.
Develop colleagues and apprentices where possible.
Support AP/CP identification and CoW roles.
Follow CBRE environmental policy and objectives.
