Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Fabric Technician to support maintenance across client sites in Manchester and beyond. You will perform planned and reactive fabric tasks, manage and mentor a small team, and ensure safety and quality in every job.

The role requires hands-on building trades experience, a Level 3 building fabric qualification, and a strong commitment to HSE. A UK driving licence may be preferred for site coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in building fabric tasks such as plastering, joinery, glazing, plumbing and decorating.
• Ability to organise and supervise a small team of Facilities Technicians.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and their application.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the physical workplace experience at client locations.
• Maintaining high HSE standards and a secure workplace, controlling costs and driving service improvements.
• Building relationships within the client organisation.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures, statutory requirements and engineering standards.
• Providing planned and reactive maintenance on fabric and related tasks.
• Supporting uplift/refit projects with Projects & Construction teams.
