Fabric Maintenance Engineer - Days only - Knightsbridge, London – £42,000 per annum

My client is seeking a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join a busy commercial building in Knightsbridge, London. This is a client‑facing role, so the ideal candidate will not only be technically skilled but also presentable with strong communication skills. You’ll be joining an established maintenance team that has recently taken on a new member, so we’re looking for someone confident who can hit the ground running.

  • £53,350 per annum
  • Monday to Friday – 08:00am – 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and occupant comfort.
  • Perform regular inspections and troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, ventilation, fire safety, and building automation systems.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance validation to ensure proper functionality.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during construction phases.
  • Ensure building systems comply with local regulations, codes, sustainability standards, and client requirements.
