Job summary

A leading building service provider in Hammersmith is looking for a Fabric Engineer to join their team. This role involves performing planned and reactive carpentry maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery, a solid understanding of health and safety practices, and have flexibility to support the maintenance team as needed. Fabric Engineer

Hammersmith, West London

£35,000 - £38,000

We've got a great role for a Fabric Engineer to join our client on an exciting site based in Hammersmith! You'll be joining a well renowned building service provider who pride themselves on progressing their engineers further with internal progression and training.

This is a static role, following a Monday - Friday schedule (8-5)

For this Fabric Engineer role, you'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, respond to emergencies, general carpentry duties and liaise with subcontractors.

Fabric Engineer Duties
  • Carrying out planned and reactive carpentry maintenance across the site
  • Repairing and maintaining doors, locks, skirting, flooring, and other wooden fixtures and fittings
  • Assisting with general fabric maintenance and minor building works where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with compliance regulations
Fabric Engineer Requirements
  • NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices
  • Flexibility to support the wider maintenance team when needed
Salary and Benefits
  • £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
