Job summary

Haas F1 Team in Banbury, UK, seeks a RTS Composites Technician to support assembly, servicing and repair of composite components for Haas F1 race cars. Role involves working trackside and in the factory, under the Number 1 Mechanic and Chief Mechanic, with travel to races as required.

Essential experience in motorsport and solid fabrication/machining skills are required; familiarity with composite repair methods, laminating and resin selection is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical role within Formula 1, World Sports Cars, or F2 is preferred, or proven motorsport service record.

Responsibilities

• Follow engineering procedures for assembly, operation and safety pertaining to the Haas F1 Team.
• Collaborate with the Composite team on workloads, fault reporting and upcoming activities.
• Undertake trimming and bonding of composite assemblies.
• Maintain bodywork, floors and brake ducts trackside and at the factory to required standards.
