Job summary

Alpine F1 Team is seeking a Composite Technician – Assembly & Trimming on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2027. You will be at the heart of our composite manufacturing operation, trimming, assembling, bonding and finishing high-performance components for Formula 1 race cars.

You will read engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, ensure dimensional accuracy, and collaborate across departments to meet production deadlines while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience trimming, assembling, and finishing composite components.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, templates, and trim instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality components.
• Experience using hand and power tools for precision trimming, drilling, and fitting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of quality control processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Trim, assemble, and finish composite components according to drawings and specs.
• Perform bond preparation and work with aerospace-grade adhesives.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain high quality and productivity in line with departmental targets.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances per procedures.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to meet production requirements and deadlines.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized working environment.
