Job summary

Haas F1 Team in Banbury, UK seeks an experienced R&D NDT & Service Technician to support daily operations, develop NDT test processes, and operate testing equipment for car and off-car components. You will contribute to high standards of quality, safety, and performance in a demanding motorsport environment.

The role requires extensive NDT know-how, reading technical drawings, and a calm, detail-oriented approach to testing under tight race schedules. Travel and irregular hours are possible.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required; higher education including trade school, apprenticeship or degree desired.
• 5+ years in a similar motorsport role with NDT experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
• NDT with UT and Penetrant inspection; eddy current is a plus with training possible.
• Experience inspecting carbon composites and understanding manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D Lead Team Leader and report issues with timely solutions.
• Develop and complete NDT processes for car and off-car components.
• Ensure NDT equipment is suitable and fit-for-purpose.
• Complete test procedures for service and proof testing of components.
• Operate R&D test equipment, loggers and sensors.
• Document and publish reports on test results and fault finding.
• Support implementation of R&D tests as required.
• Maintain tools, fixtures and jigs in good condition.
