Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team, based in Banbury, UK, is seeking a skilled composite mechanic to join the Haas F1 race car program. You will be responsible for assembly, servicing and repair of composite components, attending races and test events as required, reporting to the Chief Mechanic.

The role demands experience in high-performance motorsport, reading technical drawings, adherence to safety rules, and a collaborative approach with the Composite team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar mechanical role within Formula 1, World Sports Cars, or F2 is preferred.
• Basic fabrication and machining skills.
• Comprehensive mechanical understanding gained in Formula 1 motor racing.

Responsibilities

• Follow Engineering procedures and protocols pertaining to assembly, operation, and safety.
• Collaborate with the Composite team on workloads, fault reporting and upcoming activities.
• Undertake trimming and bonding of composite assemblies.
• Maintain Bodywork, Floors and Brake ducts trackside and in the factory to required standards.
