Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team is offering a 1-year Simulation Student Placement in Enstone, starting July 2027. You will help develop, maintain and deploy simulation tools used across engineering departments, working with engineers, software developers and performance analysts to ensure accurate and efficient workflows informing design and race strategy.

You will gain hands-on experience validating outputs against real data, contributing to documentation and cross-functional collaboration, while

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.
• Strong programming skills (Matlab, Python) and familiarity with simulation environments such as Dymola, Simscape, Simulink.
• Understanding of car systems (thermal management, hydraulics, transmission, fuel) and modelling techniques.
• Experience with data analysis and software development tools.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.
