Job summary
ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year student placement in Enstone, starting July 2027. You will support development, testing and deployment of simulation software used across technical departments, collaborating with engineers and performance analysts to ensure tools are accurate and user-friendly.
You should be in penultimate year of a relevant engineering or CS degree with strong programming skills and knowledge of simulation techniques; UK work eligibility and onsite assessment in
Qualifications
- Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year.
- Strong programming skills.
- Good understanding of simulation techniques and numerical methods.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Right to work in the UK; onsite assessment in September.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining simulation tools and frameworks
- Support the integration of simulation software with engineering workflows
- Help validate simulation outputs against real-world data
- Contribute to documentation, testing and user support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation tools meet performance and usability requirements
