Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone invites a Simulation Student Placement candidate to join our high-performance Formula One team. You will support development, testing, deployment, and validation of simulation tools used across engineering disciplines to inform design and race strategy decisions.

The role requires ongoing study in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering, with strong MATLAB/Python skills and experience with Simulink, Dymola, and Simscape.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering
• Strong programming skills (MATLAB, Python) and familiarity with simulation environments such as Dymola, Simscape, Simulink
• Understanding of car systems and modelling techniques

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and testing of simulation tools and applications
• Support integration of simulation software into engineering workflows
• Help validate simulation outputs against real-world data
• Contribute to documentation and user support for simulation tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet user needs
