Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team invites applications for a Simulation Development Student Placement based in Enstone. You will join a high-performance group supporting design, performance optimisation, and race prep through advanced software tools and virtual testing.

The role focuses on developing and deploying simulation software, working with engineers and analysts to ensure accuracy, efficiency and user-friendliness. You will gain exposure to cutting-edge racing technology.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering.
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
• Good understanding of simulation techniques and numerical methods.
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining simulation tools and frameworks
• Support the integration of simulation software with engineering workflows
• Help validatesimulation outputs against real-world data
• Contribute to documentation, testing and user support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation tools meet performance and usability requirements
