Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a student for a 1-year industry placement in Enstone. You will join the Software Engineering & Data team to work with Software Engineers, AI Engineers and Platform Engineers on tools supporting car design, performance analysis, and race strategy.

Responsibilities include development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support across the software lifecycle, with exposure to end-to-end processes in a high-performance Formula One environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science or related discipline and seeking an industry placement.
• Strong interest in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with C#, Python or similar imperative languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and deployment of software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers across departments to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Actively participate in the operational phase of our Software Development Lifecycle, troubleshooting issues and presenting findings clearly to technical stakeholders.
