Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year Simulation Development Student Placement in Enstone, starting July 2027. You will develop, test and deploy simulation software used across technical departments, working with simulation engineers, software developers and performance analysts to ensure accuracy, efficiency and user-friendliness.

Applicants should be pursuing a relevant degree in CS, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering in their penultimate year, with strong

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
• Strong programming skills
• Good understanding of simulation techniques and numerical methods; knowledge of vehicle dynamics desirable but not essential
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Right to work in the UK; sponsor not available
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining simulation tools and frameworks
• Support the integration of simulation software with engineering workflows
• Help validate simulation outputs against real-world data
• Contribute to documentation, testing and user support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation tools meet performance and usability requirements
