Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited in Newquay is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead busy complex operations and deliver guest-focused service. You will work closely with kitchen teams to ensure quality and portion controls, while supporting the Complex Manager with labour planning and costs.

The role requires flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and experience in a fast-paced F&B environment. DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Supervise complex operations to high standards with food safety and hygiene
• Deliver a warm welcome and meet guests' needs throughout visits
• Assist Complex Manager with labour planning and wage costs
• Use ordering systems to place and manage food and beverage orders
• Manage cash handling and till procedures
• Monitor stock to reduce waste and improve gross profit targets
• Support recruitment, induction and team development
• Ensure food meets specifications and portion controls with kitchen teams
• Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, financial controls
• Run shifts in absence of Complex Manager
• Complete tasks as required by General/Complex Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Oversee food safety, hygiene and standards.
• Plan labour and monitor wage costs.
• Place and manage orders using the food and beverage system.
• Manage cash handling and till reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels to reduce waste and improve GP.
