The Role

Our client school in the Ferryhill area is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse to work in their Nursery provision. This is a great school with a fantastic and supportive headteacher, and for the right person, this could become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting children within the classroom, including working with small groups independently
  • Assessment: Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed
  • Safeguarding: Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers
