Boots Opticians in the UK is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor, listening to needs and helping them find the right eyewear solution.

You’ll benefit from Boots’ Step Into Optics training programme, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to dispensing glasses and contact lenses, pre-screening, aftercare, admin, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
