Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and help them choose eyewear and services while supporting pre-screening activities for eye-tests.

The role offers training through our Step Into Optics programme, with opportunities to develop knowledge through workshops and on-the-job experience in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn and grow within retail optician environment.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Assist with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Complete dispensing prescriptions and related admin tasks.
• Maintain store standards and customer engagement.
