Job summary

Boots Opticians is hiring an Optical Assistant to be a welcoming, customer-focused member of our in-store team. You’ll help customers select eyewear, assist with pre-screening and eye tests, and support aftercare through repairs and adjustments. You’ll also handle dispensing tasks and keep the shop floor well-organised.

Based in-store, you’ll report to the store manager and benefit from Boots’ industry-leading training programme to develop your knowledge and skills in optics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
