Job summary

Boots Opticians in Liverpool is looking for an Optical Assistant to be the friendly face on the shop floor. You will greet customers, assist with glasses and contact lenses, and support eye tests and pre-screening activities.

You'll work in-store, progress through Boots' Step Into Optics training, handle dispensing tasks, aftercare, and maintain high shop-floor standards while delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
• Experience in retail or clinical environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain shop floor standards.
