Boots Opticians is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our store team in the Boots UK network. You will be based in store, greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find the right eyewear and services.

You’ll participate in pre-screening activities, assist with eye-tests, and support ongoing aftercare and maintenance of eyewear. This role emphasizes building relationships with customers, learning through our Step Into Optics training, and contributing to a welcoming shopping

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
• Experience in a retail or clinical environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
