Regional Recruitment is assisting a national Electrical Wholesaler in recruiting an External Sales Manager for the Redditch branch. The role focuses on growing sales, developing accounts and building strong customer relationships across the region.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in electrical wholesale or manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and a readiness to work with a proactive sales team. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale or manufacturing is essential.
• Ability to win new business and develop accounts.
• Strong face-to-face and telephone sales skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 100 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Redditch Branch. The candidate will need to working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler. Or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

The Role of Sales Manager

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
• Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
• Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts
• The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
• Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity
• The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
• The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
• Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
• A valid UK driving licence

• Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management
