Regional Recruitment is assisting a National Electrical Wholesaler to hire an External Sales Manager for its Luton Branch. The role focuses on growing sales, developing new accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will need proven field sales experience within electrical wholesale or related sectors and be comfortable with face-to-face presentations and ongoing business development.

Qualifications

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 100 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Luton Branch. The candidate will need to working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler. Or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

The Role of Sales Manager:

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
• Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
• Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts
• The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
• Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity
• The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
• The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
• Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
• A valid UK driving licence
