Regional Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a National Electrical Wholesaler for an External Sales Manager at the Coventry branch. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical wholesale or manufacturing and will drive growth in the local area.

You will identify new business, manage key accounts, present samples, and build lasting relationships. The role is Monday–Friday with some Saturday work, includes on-target bonus and career progression.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Electrical Wholesale or related sector
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record in developing and managing accounts

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 100 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Coventry Branch. The candidate will need to working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler. Or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

The Role of Sales Manager:

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
• Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
• Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts
• The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
• Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity
• The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
• The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
• Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
• A valid UK driving licence

Desirable Sales Manager Skills:

• Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management
• Career focussed, hardworking and ambitious.
