Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding UK is seeking an Export Operations Agent to help move goods through customers’ global supply chains. You will coordinate Air and Ocean exports for a designated portfolio, ensuring high service levels and profitability while complying with regulatory requirements.

In this role you will build strong relationships with customers and service providers, support the sales team, and monitor performance against objectives set by the Station Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven export experience and understanding of customer service, freight processes and systems.
• Proven ability to identify and meet customer needs in a professional and friendly manner.
• Experience in Air and Ocean Freight is desirable.
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and spoken English with excellent telephone and email communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service in line with DHL commitments.
• Support and contribute to the company’s overall strategy.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of Air and Ocean Export shipments for a designated portfolio of customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their requirements.
• Maintain and manage operational data, including financial reviews.
• Support the Station Manager in profitability and service quality objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and service providers.
• Support the Sales team in interactions with key customers.
• Ensure compliance with country requirements and DHL Code of Conduct.
