Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking an International Operations Agent to coordinate daily import and export shipments across air, ocean, and surface modes. You will manage PO processes, schedule loading, and ensure on‑time delivery in line with customer agreements.

You will liaise with carriers, overseas offices, and customers, maintain accurate records, and deliver high levels of service while upholding internal KPIs and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in freight forwarding.
• CargoWise software experience is a plus.
• Customer focus: understand and address customer needs.
• Professional level oral & written English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities across issues of varying complexity.
• Attention to detail in documentation and processes.
• Knowledge of raising and discharging of T1 documents is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PO management, shipment coordination, and supply chain visibility for global imports/exports.
• Prepare quotations and provide end-to-end service recommendations.
• Manage end-to-end shipment execution across import/export movements, including cross-trade shipments.
• Monitor purchase orders from origin to delivery milestones with proactive communications.
• Plan shipping schedules and liaise with customers, carriers, ports, and agents.
