Job summary

Pearson VUE in Birmingham is hiring a Test Centre Administrator to join our global assessment team. You will support candidate check-in, security, and exam delivery in a busy test centre environment.

The role offers part-time hours (minimum 8.5 hours weekly) with a pay rate of £13.60 per hour and monthly pay. Flexibility across shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends is essential to serve test takers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front-desk roles.
• Familiar with MS Office applications.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and test-taking candidates; check in and direct them to seating areas.
• Comply with exam security procedures and policies, exercising careful judgement at all times.
• Verify identification documents and explain exam process and rules to candidates.
• Proctor and invigilate exams while maintaining a quiet testing environment.
• Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to troubleshoot test centre technical issues.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean testing area.
