Job summary

Pearson VUE in the United Kingdom is hiring a Test Centre Administrator to join our Mile End team. You will support secure exam delivery and provide exceptional customer service in a busy test centre. This is a part-time, six-month contract (with the possibility to become permanent); minimum 12 hours per week.

Test centre hours run Monday to Saturday, 7:30–19:15, requiring flexible scheduling. Pay rate is £13.60/hour, paid monthly.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and check-in customers/test-taking candidates.
• Comply with exams security and procedures and follow company policies.
• Verify ID documents and explain exam rules.
• Proctor/invigilate candidates during exams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with internal IT teams as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, sanitizing keyboards).
