Job summary

GreenSquareAccord is seeking a Homeless / Ex Offender Support Worker in Birmingham. The role focuses on tenancy-related support for homeless ex-offenders, with opportunities to work in community settings to assist clients in sustaining tenancies and safer communities.

You will provide person-centered support to help clients resettle, maintain confidentiality, and follow a rolling rota including weekends and bank holidays. DBS check will be required following offer.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of the needs of ex-offenders and vulnerable people.
• Ability to work both in a small team and as a lone worker.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and keeping accurate records.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car are essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenancy related support to homeless ex-offenders and potential community-based support.
• Deliver person-centred support to help clients resettle and reduce re-offending.
• Complete essential support tasks and maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Expect a rolling 4-week rota including weekends and bank holidays; sleep-ins payable.
