Job summary

GreenSquareAccord in Birmingham is seeking a Head of Service - Support Services to lead a broad portfolio of community and in-home support across the West Midlands and Southwest. You will deliver strategic leadership, ensure safety, quality, regulatory compliance and financial sustainability, while building partnerships with commissioners and regulators.

The role requires DBS clearance, DBS checks will be finalized after offer and onboarding, and a senior leader with health and social care

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in leadership or Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Senior leadership experience within social care, supported housing or related service setting.
• Proven experience of managing operational budgets and delivering financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent people leadership skills with experience of managing performance.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the allocated budget, ensuring the delivery of strong financial performance.
• Ensure that high-quality services are delivered that adhere to GreenSquareAccord’s quality framework and contractual/regulatory requirements.
• Lead services in developing and sustaining excellent customer service that enhances customer experience and maximises customer satisfaction.
• Provide strong leadership and oversight of your team, ensuring positive role modelling and adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key agencies to optimise outcomes for customers.
• Depose for the Director of Care & Support when required.
