About Us

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London is a new Guinness neighbourhood in London that will inspire the best in brewing, food, retail, and culture. It comprises 52,000 square feet of heritage buildings and a central courtyard in the historic brewing quarter in Covent Garden. GOGBL aims to become a key growth driver for Guinness, enhancing brand relevance and visibility among a new generation of drinkers. Guinness has experienced significant growth globally, with a 50% increase since 2019, reaching historic highs in value, volume, and market share in its 264-year history.

Location

Key elements of the site include:

  • Iconic Guinness Gates as the main entrance, offering cultural impact in London.
  • Restaurants, taproom, and bars serving world-class food and beer.
  • An all-weather historic courtyard with a top-tier bar experience.
  • Retail spaces, including collaborations for short-term brand items.
  • A bespoke 5th-floor glass box rooftop for dining and drinking, offering new views of London.
  • Brewery tours and beer experiences.
  • A cultural events space equipped for meetings and conferences.
Your Responsibilities
  • Welcoming visitors at the front of house.
  • Maximizing capacity while ensuring a 5-star guest experience.
  • Managing IS Systems and Secutix/Compliance.
  • Leading a focused admissions team handling approximately 1.6 million visitors annually.
  • Ensuring compliance with cash/card procedures, including handling and reconciliation.
  • Managing the complimentary ticket process.
  • Providing shift leadership during peak times to manage the seven floors of the GSH Building, ensuring legislative compliance and health and safety standards.
Key Stakeholders

The role reports to the Sales & Marketing Director, GOGBL. Building strong relationships with colleagues responsible for Guinness's growth strategy and the wider Diageo GB team is essential.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in a hospitality business with high pre-booked activity.
  • Experience managing a pre-booking team.
  • Experience achieving pre-booked targets.
  • Experience in a multi-faceted hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to establish, deliver, and measure service standards.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems.
