Overview

We are looking for an authentic and driven Events Operation Supervisor to join us on a Full Time basis at Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and embrace your unique, best self to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections!

Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel brings together traditional Edinburgh architecture with an exciting and fresh indoor feel, offering our guests a modern luxurious stay. Welcoming locals to relax in our Garden area (a must visit), experiencing mouth-watering food in BABA restaurant, or guests from far and wide being pampered in our state-of-the-art Spa – we cover it all!

Responsibilities
  • Work across a wide range of events such as Birthdays, Weddings, Conferences and Baby Showers to provide customers with excellent service.
  • Work to a fast pace and ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Be yourself – bring your unique personality to work and be who you are.
  • Lead yourself – make decisions and exert creativity to provide guests with heartfelt human connections; do what is right.
  • Make it count – create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day.
Requirements
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility of working hours; late finishes and early starts depending on the event.
  • Experience working at Events, within a Bar, Restaurant or Hotel as a Waiter/Waitress, Server or Host.
  • Drive to produce results and contribute to providing extremely personal experiences and human connection for guests.
  • A warm and authentic personality with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
  • Willingness to work within our team to embrace our service and delight our guests.
