Scotsman Group is seeking a hospitality professional to be the face of our establishment in Glasgow, delivering welcoming, memorable guest experiences during events and daily service. You will support meeting and event flow from start to finish, ensuring venues are prepared, staffed, and maintained to high standards.

The role emphasizes guest interaction, professional service, and accurate payment handling, with opportunities across multiple Scotsman venues and event types.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, cafe, bar or busy guest service environments preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and adapt to varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces with tables, chairs, linens, and stage layouts as per briefs.
• Serve high-quality food, buffets and beverages with a warm, professional smile.
• Greet attendees, answer questions and anticipate guest needs throughout events.
• Assist in basic AV setup including projectors, microphones and lighting.
• Keep event rooms, bars and service areas clean, safe and organized.
• Clear and reset spaces efficiently for next event.
• Process payment transactions (cash, debit, credit) adhering to till procedures and report discrepancies.
